We had a sewage backup into our basement on New Year's eve. not exactly how I wanted to spend that holiday, but sometimes we don't get to choose these things. Immediately we called insurance and the ball got rolling so to speak. The restoration company has been amazing!! as much as an inconvenience this all has been, I have to say I am amazed at the wonderful work they did. My basement is clean and ready to go again. all that in a week and a half. We still have work to be done as far as rest of the house goes and the clean up but the basement is amazing. I am looking forward to having a new space to refinish and claim as living area.

What a nightmare! But those clean up companies are amazing. I used to work at a hotel, and the boiler in the penthouse ruptured, and 50000 liters of water fell 6 floors through the hotel. A literal waterfall. One inch of water across an entire floor of the hotel!
